Finally after holding on to it for a couple of weeks; I tried it. Sunday morning two weeks ago I was able to give a friend her Christmas Card and then when I got to church that night I got this gift from her that evening along with some other ladies.
Have you tried Chai Tea?
The first time I tried it was with my Great Aunt Margaret down in Evansville. It was during one of my visits from Oakland City. Those were priceless days for me spending time with her and getting to know Evansville better. Honestly, I’m not certain I liked it very well then.
However, today as I tried Marsha’s version the smell was mesmerizing. Hints of cinnamon and nutmeg really came through just from the first smell of this aroma once I opened the jar.

Such a nice pairing of my tea in my new mug from church. Although I was told Anna, my cousin loves Chai Tea and I could have shared some with her on Thursday. I was totally going to do that and somehow maybe seeing the snow just threw the idea out of my head I guess. It would have been the perfect time as cold as it was and with our snowbirds playing outside at my Uncle’s house.
Oh well I guess this means there’s more for me after all if no one else wants any around here.
I will be enjoying this homemade recipe of Chai Tea!
I wonder if Aunt Carol ever got some of this? I remember she was a big tea drinker all of us Bishop’s are, but I remember her drinking green tea too. With Marsha being her best friend… it’s just a thought that came to mind.
