The Chapters of Prophecy

Starting with Chapter 8 Angela delves into the various prophecies succumbing around the Nativity narrative. Her reflections and knowledge has brought about new perspective and clarity for those of us in this discussion group.

Honestly, with nearly 200 members it’s hard to have a real discussion. However, she adds on to her thoughts from the devotional in our Facebook group that absolutely clarifies what she had formatted into the book.

Today is the 12th so there is one more Chapter of Prophecy. It’s hard to believe we are already half way through the devotional. So we have covered the Coming Messiah, the Patterns in Prophecy, Messiah’s Lineage which is intriguing. Gentiles are in Christ’s lineage and there are two lineages shown from Abraham to Joseph and also Adam to Mary.

Prophecy in Timing was yesterday and today was Messiah’s People. Reading through the pages was like reading thoughts I already knew. I have mentioned another book, Mary, Chosen Of God written by Taylor. What would it have been like to have Jesus, Christ and Savior of the World, your older brother work out your betrothal agreement? Of course his sisters wouldn’t have known all of that would they? Not all of his family would accept him like his mother did, but she had special knowledge didn’t she!

That’s what I love about learning each day from this devotional. It’s nice to be able to gain more knowledge about some of the areas being covered in this. One can never know enough about how loving Adonai truly is.
