Jewells of Thought

Okay ladies, how do you know that your man loves you? Does he show it by his actions or his words? Does he make it clear as crystal or does he do it in subtle ways?

The first time Bryan’s passion came out and figuratively hit me was after I said something innocuous about being too tired from something that I actually was blaming exhaustion for saying he meant something more than just a friend. Unfortunately I didn’t save my message, but his response certainly got my attention.

I can tell you my heart was pounding when I found this message waiting on me. It was truly surreal and refreshing to know it wasn’t a one-sided thing. This was within a couple of months or less of our story though. It was exciting and vibrant.

Tonight I had another such passionate exchange with him. Not only did he invoke the idea my articles are “doing more good to the general masses” in relation to my feeling restless about another situation we are dealing with personally. Then he invoked a name I don’t legally have as of yet, that we both are looking forward to saying, as he said, “soon to be Jewell J”. I have to leave something for you readers to wait for and a future last name is one of those.

There is nothing sweeter than to have a man’s commitment and watching it deepen over a two year span. This connection feels special I am very grateful for this man! Sometimes the reality of his love and passion hits me with a sense of soberness that takes my breath away. A cold dose of reality that makes my senses tingle and then commences a nice fuzzy warm up from the heart outward.
