Being Thankful…

Heavenly Gracious Father, Thank You for the mixed blessings from the last seven days. An order for an x-ray was seen to this week, for Grandma Rosie. The diagnosis is low-grade pneumonia, thank you so much Lord that she’s not any worse off. She seems to be doing well considering. I also pray Abba-Father that my MRI results will show that my foot is healing. Lord, thank you for bringing our little girl, my niece, to us this weekend when she needed some tender loving care while carrying the flu to us. We were her nursemaids even while she unleashed her stomach on my bathroom floor.

Then, Heavenly Father, you have given us the grace to endure Sammie-Girls death. While our girl was slowly recovering our dog was acting very unusual. Then on Sunday, the nurses became the patients and then by noon our dog was found lifeless. Mom and I were affected more than my niece, but we will all feel her loss in the days ahead. We adopted Sammie the year my niece was born, seven years ago. Wow! Lord it has been an up and down few days, but you alone have gotten us through each day! Thank You Holy Father for your presence on our family home.
