If you started a sports team, what would the colors and mascot be?
This is kind of an intriguing question! I grew up a Union Bulldog with black and gold colors then in College I was a Mighty Oak with blue, light blue and white colors. Not being exactly an athlete like my cousins and friends this would be a closer version within my wheelhouse.
When I first began writing the church pamphlet I liked the idea of the Sparrow. Jesus said we were more important than the little sparrows and yet not one of them will fall to the ground without the Father’s knowledge. I’m paraphrasing of course. Matthew 10:29-31. Each person and intricate story of each person is important to God our Father. People have intricate layers and it is always important to note that God will never forget His people over his lower creations. A sparrow is a good reminder of His love for us.
The colors would be a little more difficult for me. I used to leave the sparrow my Uncle Tony drew for me in the penciled format. Sometimes I would add a color to it, but my favorite colors would be purple of course or purple and orange. I tend to change the colors for a change as often as I can to perhaps gain a different perspective from the difference.
