What is your all time favorite automobile?

When I first saw this question this morning I had finished watching “The Road Less Traveled.” One of last year’s movies from Great American Family Christmas, the alternate to the Hallmark Channel. It was a moving show about her learning more about her deceased Dad while driving his ‘Old Red’ truck. All I can say is that I found myself last Christmas Season crying at the many sentimental moments in this beautiful show.

Also partly because it reminded me of Grandpa Freddy and his Green Ford truck that he and Grandma loved traveling in. It was hard when we needed to eventually find that sentimental truck a new home. Plus Dad at one time had a truck and I want to say it was also a red one, but most recently after that truck we had our blue truck which became our mowing truck, my mowing truck.

Trucks have such a lush pool of memories for us as Farmers. We always had a need for one and wouldn’t have known what to do without them like now. We simply have a ton truck and it feels weird to not have more than that even to get ourselves a Christmas tree.

Did you notice most of these trucks remind me of the men in my life the same as it did for her! They are special memories.
