Jewells of Thought

Really since last Friday night everything has been go, go, go, go and go. Early that Friday I put in an application. There were two positions I was eyeing, but one ultimately was selected over the other to apply. Thankfully I had that done before my niece and a couple of her cousins all of a sudden came back over here with my parents. I only partially expected one teenager not two extra kids.

Anyhow we sure had a car full when we headed to eat that night. It’s been quite a ride since. An 8 year old got me to play with a basketball with him. I did lose HORSE twice but I did make a few hoops more than I thought I would. I was actually surprised how well I did not being an athlete like my cousins were playing in women’s sports. Yes I mean Anna and Lilly for certain. I remember our Grandparents so proud of them with their basketball and cross-country events.

This week there has been one appointment nearly everyday if not two one way or another. Today Mom saw her nurse that trims her toenails and she referred her for foot therapy. So now literally today Mom now has therapy pretty soon this afternoon. I feel like I am constantly heading somewhere.

Plus tonight will be my 2nd choir practice of the week. I am hoping to get through my solo tonight too. The big thing today though was that I had an interview. By 3 pm I will know if I got the position or if one of the later interviewees by then. I have a plan if I need a Plan B, but I did feel good about it so it is in God’s hands now.
