Jewells of Thought

Perhaps today’s misfortune was good for me. I still tend to be a news junkie. I needed to stay away from the news and my favorite shows due to the horrific results yesterday. The detox was forced but something I truly needed with all the pundits analyzing on all the various shows throughout the day.

However, the one program I wanted to watch that I have been anticipating is the interview with Erika Kirk. Jessie Watters had her first interview “In Her Own Words” is what the program was called.

The emotions I have had from watching these clips are overwhelming. Watching her get so emotional over clips of Charlie it’s really difficult trying to stay dry-eyed. Obviously I have not won on that count tears have rolled down my face. Seeing this special interview is what I needed tonight after knowing what will elapse over the these blue cities that voted yesterday. This also reminds me New York is not the heartland where Turning Point has these amazing nights of standing room only events.

Charlies ideas were working. Before I ever heard his name I had similar sentiments as a church kid with big ideas. He made them stick and his ideas flourished into this beautiful movement that is now a reality. An American Revival has been sparked and his wife will move his idea into the future. This was thought impossible not long ago to bring God, Faith and Family back into the American youth.

It’s a good thing our God is known for His making the impossible into reality when other god’s are lifeless images Our God is timeless and omniscient. Our God Reigns… one of my favorite songs to sing growing up. A song I treasure because it connects me to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Joseph.
