Jewells of Thought

Since last Wednesday or Thursday I have had a difficult time trying to sit and think about articles. The articles were there, but finding the words was hard. Plus several things happened like bang, bang, bang in a row.

Friday was a day of rest though from the events from Thursday. Anyhow my thoughts and the happenings were difficult to sync together and adequately post something good about them when I was exhausted and had some problems this weekend. Unfortunately I was dealing with an allergic reaction that lasted longer than it usually does and was frustrating as well as tiresome.

Life is amazing and fast paced. if you don’t take the time to enjoy it as we did on Thursday you miss time well spent with family. It was a couple of years later than we wanted it to be, but we made the visit and got to see both ladies we needed to see that day. The looks on their faces spoke volumes and made our day as we pray we made their day for them. There’s nothing like family and knowing when you absolutely need to make time for them a priority.

You only regret the time you didn’t spend with family members. It was a blessing and well worth the pain I may have had from driving again. Like my Mom’s cousin said that day, sometimes we are duty bound and just know we have to do certain things not just for ourselves but for the recipient just as much.
