Jewells of Thought

When I was in school my Fall Break was maybe two days. We didn’t get a whole week like the kids seem to now. My niece may have mentioned having a break on Friday or Saturday, but I didn’t think about it or understand what she meant by it.

Now I know it means lots of kids at our house for most of the week. We have gone from one girl to two girls to now two girls and an extra boy around here today. We never know what she is going to surprise us with day to day.

Thankfully I did get the girls to do some things with their hands that required them to be off their phones. They unplugged in order to do these activities. So I call that a good night.

These are some photos of the Christmas Garlands the girls made. Then tonight the beads we made that can now be magnets on their refrigerators. I made the fish for myself, until a little girl decided she “trusted” me to make hers. Yes this 5 year old used the trust word to beg me to make a few for her. She did ask for certain colors and she did add some beads herself. It was fun after all.
