Writing Prompt!

How fitting for this prompt to be at this time. Two surgeries in one year. It wasn’t a goal I wanted to make for myself until I realized my surgical woes would finally be over. The first surgery was rough on me back in March. Some extra problems were thrown in for effect and made my recovery longer than the previous right arm-wrist surgery was for me.

When I got the phone call on Tuesday afternoon, asking would this Thursday work, I was in complete shock. I could have cried at that moment but one question had to be answered first. Could Dad drive me with less than 2 days warning? Within a couple of minutes the question was answered and I was still in shock almost shaking. My prayer was being answered. This would allow me to be on the mend before the big holidays and start a new position that I was either hoping and praying to train for or have a new job that didn’t require much training.

Tomorrow will already be 2 weeks and my sutures will be mostly healed on that day as well. The Lord has given me the strength, determination, and I hope some measure of grace to deal through this long journey.
