Today has had a big twist. My heart has ached for the Kirk Family and their unexpected loss. However, even in the midst of this heartache there is a silver lining he knew Christ and had Salvation. We may be mourning as a nation or at least half of the country, but Heaven gained a true Patriot and advocate for the cause of Freedom and Liberty.
With no doubt I am certain Christ said Well Done my faithful Servant, as He welcomed him. The Lord still works in mysterious and wondrous ways. Perhaps the next Charlie Kirk has already been called to the mission field because of Kirk.
My thoughts have been over this young man and very young family most of the afternoon into the evening. It’s enough to rattle a person. Or maybe knock some common sense into someone who has not been actively participating in the debate that can take Turning Point USA to a new level!
Anyhow it’s getting late, but tomorrow will be a busy day for me and my family. I have my appointment with my surgeon in the morning. Hopefully we will be discussing if surgery can still happen this year or if it should wait until next year. The answer to this question will solve my problem with another issue I have had troubles with resolving how to begin and take a big test if I have surgery and can’t take a test using my dominant hand to answer questions with. This is another quandary that has plagued me from a month before my surgery as to working with kids as a job but not as a teacher.
Tomorrow, though, will help me make that decision. As to start something very soon or wait until this surgery can happen to begin that process. This is something I never saw myself doing, but like Dialysis I am thinking I need to go out of my comfort zone again, but at the same time I have seen some success with some kids and focusing on some common sense learning tools to help some kids interact and learn with each other better. It’s something that has been a slow mulling for me to witness a few changes because of my method.
My first article won’t be out early unfortunately due to the trip north and the stops we have to make including picking up a cake.
