What does your ideal home look like?
This reminds me of when ladies are questioned about their perfect wedding day. For me my idea has really changed throughout the years. In my mind my ideal would be my Grandma Betty’s house, honestly, but I have also loved my Grandma Rosy’s house as well.
Only one of them is more easily attained than the other right now. Bryan and I have talked about this some, but I think we are already on the same page. Even though I would like to spend some time in Boston, his family is just his brother and family. If God would allow us to have kids I know we are on the same page about being close to the only Grandparents they would have to get to know.
Yet God works in mysterious ways maybe our ideal isn’t in God’s will for us. We’ve spent over 4 years in an not so ideal way of being a couple. There are no guarantees on the next phases of us, but we are managing as well as can be expected. God has allowed us to persevere these 4 years and nearly 4 months… only He knows what our future holds in a cherished memory-ridden home or an apartment in the city somewhere. I do know he is tired of the clogged cities of Los Angeles and Boston where traffic is much worse than I have dealt with here in Indiana.
