What were your favorite TV shows growing up?

There were several and I wrote about them in past writing prompts. There are two shows I don’t think I have written about specifically. One of them was brought back to mind on Sunday after watching the newest ‘Chicken Sisters’ hour that aired. David James Elliot guest starred and he was one of my favorite actors from ‘JAG’ back in the 90’s I have the complete set of the series.

It was a family show that we would watch together until the recent turn of the century and into the last few years of the show. I hated missing even one episode. It was also a favorite of Papaw Freddy’s. I still remember watching this show after Papaw Leo died with Papaw Freddy on the night of the viewing. It’s a brief memory that still lingers in my mind. Goodness… I still really miss my Grandpas.
