Wow this specific debate of the season was the one to watch. It was right after the RNC when Vance was named Trump’s pick that I first really started to listen to his interviews and his style of speaking in any circumstance.

This guy is pretty special for our Republican Ticket. I was blown away, by his quick wit and ability to turn the answer to his own gain. The lawyer in him I suppose, or perhaps the loving cocoon he had under his Mamaw’s wing as a child influenced this amazing level of sophistication with wordsmithery.

Walz looked nervous, so maybe the rumors the day before were correct. Although they seemed like a smoke and mirror illusion earlier in the day. Vance looked literally like a cool cucumber, it seems like I have heard that somewhere else from a historical debate among presidential contenders. Maybe it was JFK that was being flattered before isn’t that an interesting comparison.

The night was really enjoyable listening to the banter going back and forth. It was especially intriguing watching Walz try to fish around answering an obvious lie he gave about Tiananmen Square, China. I did love the answer of “knucklehead” though, it fits him rather well. Even so the contenders brought personal stories and heartfelt emotion into their answers. I did like when Vance genuinely showed sadness at the knowledge of hearing Tim’s child witness a shooting. They both had a sense of comradery throughout the 90 minutes perhaps some of that ‘folsky’ style of Waltz’s really coming through shallow skin. Who knows it made the night kind of fun and a very interesting watch for certain.

The moderators didn’t keep their promise. They weren’t going to fact check apparently they lied. If Vance hadn’t fact checked them they would think that CPB App had been in existence for who knows how long. Those Haitians are not Americans just recently Jessica Tarlov said the same thing on the “Five” and had 4 people ready to do battle with her over that comment. Thankfully Vance was able to do that little bit of checking up on the CBS-biased moderators. That is why I don’t watch those two anymore on CBS news; they make me feel slimy.
