While resting a little bit before starting dinner I got to catch up on some you tube videos. Last night before I went to bed I caught the breaking news about the New York Mayor very, very interesting with the timing of that indictment. The first video I watched though, was from the interview of the former, elegant First Lady Melania Trump, a graceful, intelligent, and determined woman.
This woman has been tried and tested right along with her husband. Unlike the current FLOTUS, who has lost all respect due to her obvious neglect and torture she has inflicted on her own husband by allowing him to be seen in such a state as he has been the past 4 years. However, she and the Vice President Kamala Harris have never had to deal with a media so harsh and prejudiced against themselves. The media absolutely fawns over their every move, bad or good, no matter what
Maybe after a few years of getting to know Trump and his family; I could now be a little bit biased. When I see Melania compared to the other two ladies I see a woman of substance. She’s graceful, she was in fact a supermodel, but she’s so much more than that. The words duty, moral, and dignity come to mind. She’s not tacky in any way like the other two and has this beautifully flawless fashion style. Harris likes to play around with different accents, but does she or Jill have a bilingual tongue? When I learned that Melania speaks no less than 5 languages I was impressed and only admired her all the more. She’s reserved and thinks before she acts and talks unlike Harris again with Oprah. She just outed herself with owning a gun and said her staff would have to clean up that statement. Wow that sounds like a real adult with good judgement on her public comments right!
The video I saw was a 14 minute clip with Ainsley from Fox News. I like Ainsley and her questions were answered. Melania did not hem and haw like she was trying to make the answer longer than it should be in order to take up as much time as possible. They were concise and understandable and even more so… relatable. This interview can be summed up for me in one word endearing, when Kamala gives us word salads and no answers it was absolutely refreshing to see a woman not even a politician give an interview and be serious about her answers knowing America would be watching her. Essentially she was saying to Kamala this is how an interview is done. That is my takeaway from observing that video earlier.
Talking on camera only months after seeing your husband nearly assassinated had to be a difficult thing to do. Her eyes showed her emotions; it would have been hard to not have emotions talking about something so personal. Then on top of this second assassination attempt only a week or two after that one she has had a lot of stress and emotion on her shoulders this summer and it has not been even remotely temporarily alleviated.

She showed us her heart in this interview. Before this she had a video not long after the initial assassination attempt and her heart was on display for her husband, something you have never seen from Jill over her husband with all of the difficulties he has endured because of her decision to not stand up for him. She has shown us her vulnerability and strength through these videos and now through a new book self-titled; Melania. There have been some mesmerizing First Ladies, they each have unique skills, abilities and life stories that have made them the memorable characters of the White House. I would have to place Melania with Jacqueline (Jackie) Kennedy and Nancy Reagan. I would have to do some more research to see who else should be on this list perhaps Martha Washington too.
