A Thoughtful Gesture

Once Mom and I got home today the mail was on the table. After a few minutes of being home I saw a familiar type of envelope and handwriting sitting on the table where Dad usually sits. It was from my cousin Ian and his wife and little boy.

Picking up the envelope I couldn’t help but smile. The theme of the birthday party was sharks, it was really cute for the one year old who loves to swim. They got him started in lessons really early. Actually the day he had his first tractor ride he had been to an early swim class that very morning. It was a big day for him for certain.

So today we got a card saying “Thank You” for coming to the party and for the gift. They even personally wrote in the “John Deere Pillow”. It was a very sweet card and I think it was the only card I have ever been given in the form of a shark.

I may be captured by my little cousin’s cuteness, but I love this “You’re Jawsome” phrase. It was too sweet it melted our hearts to find this card this afternoon. The party was a very special day and I am so glad we were able to be there for my cousin and his beautiful family.

Here are some final photos of the birthday boy’s tractor pillow.
