Goodness! Besides keeping busy with some cleaning and reorganizing a project has also been forefront on my mind. The tractor is coming together nicely. What’s funny is that these tractors are more intricate than even the planes I have made.
This is why they are so special to make for my loved ones. The time put in with each stitch and I have learned to also pray over my stitching for the person getting the gift. They were an essential piece to our family farm for a long time too. The memories that come back while making these pieces are some that I cherish.
Since the bugs earlier this year tore up our dishwasher we were finally able to get a new one today. Due to the time constraints though we weren’t able to get it going today. We will have to wait at least one more day. I think we can survive one more day thankfully. It will be nice to have less hand washing to do again.
Plus I’m hopeful to get to look through a friends fabric room. I have been offered a chance to pick what I want from my mom’s classmate’s fabric collection. So I am a little excited to see how that comes out. School started this week so we have been waiting on her timing to go up and check out this room.
Then Friday a few of us are going to the State Fair. I am really looking forward to this year’s Taste of Indiana foods. I saw a preview of what they have and it is very interesting. Some odd pairings to say the least it will be intriguing to see how Spicy Pickle Pizza goes and something about Peanut Butter and Jelly Wings! My interest was definitely piqued by looking at that Indiana Farm Bureau article.
