Jewells of Thought

Today I finally decided to clear my table off. For months it has had a variety of things on top of it including my clothes and my nieces clothes. This morning I was able to get everything else off of it in order to actually see the wood once again.

This was just the first step though. Over the past few months my cri-cut cutter and supplies, sewing machine, fabric and cross-stitch have all taken over the living room. I came to the conclusion it was time to reevaluate my stuff and where it needs to be. Not an easy task, but an essential task for my sanity and those that surround me.

Not everything is finished tonight. However, with my Uncles help moving some furniture around and Mom helping me we have gotten quite a bit done. It feels cleaner and now I just need to organize. Since Mom never got her back procedure the actual one, she had two trial runs for insurance and then she lost her insurance altogether due to a technicality. It has been frustrating, but after that procedure we were going to hit the kitchen pantry hard and it never happened so we still have to finish putting the other half of the kitchen back up from earlier this spring.

I am looking forward to trying to organize over the next couple of days. I really need a good cabinet for all these different hobbies. It does feel good to be able to get some things put up and cleaned up. We have put this off way too long, unfortunately. I am hoping this helps to streamline my work area a bit we shall see how that all works out!
