Jewells of Thought

Watching the 3rd day of the Republican National Convention has been emotional. More so than the past 2 days. Each day the Everyday Americans have been inspirational stories told. This third night though tears keep coming from the different guests and their truly amazing and unique stories.

So many priceless moments tonight in this lineup of guest speakers. Some well known and others not so well known. A lot of them are Combat Soldiers telling their personal stories some of them politicians and some not. One poignant segment was for the Gold Star families the 13 families affected from Afghanistan. Talk about tear-jerker speeches and moments of connection in the Center; these were some amazing moments.

Right now a big twist came from a supposed speech from Don Jr. Instead he gave the microphone to his oldest daughter, who is President Trump’s oldest grandchild. It was a bold move for a Granddaughter of Trump to make and made with a gut instinct she, of course, inherited from Grandpa as well as Dad. Talk about the strength of America that was the strength of a young American woman who knows exactly who she is and what she can do for her Grandpa. These few minutes of a glimpse she gave us of her Grandpa was awesome. She will have an amazing future.

Besides this young woman those young Fraternity brothers from North Carolina showed up tonight. I had wondered when they would be on stage. Again more moving moments and even a new song to go along with their presentation with American flags. The love in this Convention Center has been overflowing all night.

Still JD has yet to come out with his speech accepting his nomination as the Vice Presidential Candidate.

How on earth does the DNC plan to compete with the energy in this crowd?
