The Debate Night

Thursday evening was quite a night. After over a week of having up to three girls most of the time we had just one that day. It was a day of catching up to our bodies physically for me and my Mom. It was also our last evening with our girl before heading back to Mommy’s the next day.

Plus the next morning was full of appointments. I had one at 8:30 and my brother had one up at Terre Haute at 9:30. Mom and I still wanted to walk so we got up before 6:30 to get ready to eat breakfast, walk and get ready to go. So we knew we needed to get to bed earlier that night, which meant possibly not watching all of the Presidential Debate.

Really all that was on my mind was talking about needing an Allergist after all. I am really not looking forward to needing a specialist again, but maybe this is simply just that things under your heart takes longer to heal when it comes stop scabs and so forth so I am hoping that reasoning works in this situation. Anyhow I was ready for the conversation and anxious to also get it over.

However, after eating at Long John Silvers and visiting with Preacher Dean and Diane things took a twist. My early night did not happen and Mom had a rough night as well due to her sugar, but that didn’t seem to matter to certain people.

Do you ever get a chill down your spine or a feeling in your gut about something you know is wrong? Something punched us in the gut really hard and it was like the Holy Spirit was telling us Trust Me, even when we were told to trust a 12 year old. Proverbs and all of my Sunday School lessons as a child were telling me to go straight home while another voice was saying otherwise. There are people in this world who simply don’t get it. Their actions show where their head is you can see it from a mile away. Yet they want you to trust them with your jewels when you know you will never see them again or some will definitely be missing when you see them again. Some people just are not trustworthy.

These emotions followed us home and even over the next few days actually. They may never go away if their motives and attitudes don’t change. This feeling made me shake and my Mom was still trying to figure out her sugar problems. All of this happened before the debate. Actually I was a few seconds late both men were already on the stage when I turned the Livestream on the television. It gave us something else to observe while we were trying to calm down and figure out how Mom’s sugar really was in those moments. I remember moving about not being able to just sit down and watch.

Trump looked marvelous though and did really well in the in between questions. It was a night and day difference between the two men. Biden of course, after all the details were mentioned for days seemed like a loose cannon. Trump had some brilliant answers though. I missed the biggest lie from Biden about the military deaths. I watched for a 45 minutes and then turned it off and started getting ready to get up really early the next morning.

Yet I couldn’t stop myself once I was dressed for bed and in bed I went back to the Livestream and watched the last comments from both men or maybe just Trumps last word. I remember finishing that off and then heading to bed. Once we got up we walked early and were done before 7:30 am At 7:35 am I missed the phone call, but I got the message while I ate breakfast. My appointment had been canceled due to my Nurse being sick so the early checkup was off. My Mom was needing to head to the Sugar Doctor’s office to ask some questions so instead we headed up north to take care of that first.

Nothing had happened like it was supposed to Debate Night. Biden came out on the bottom which a lot of us knew would happen due to his policy answers. Yet his stage presence was really hard to watch and observe. I think Hannity said it best “an empty vessel.” I do believe the pundits are right we don’t want anybody taking Biden’s place as candidate even if it would be Gavin Newsome or Michelle Obama, they could potentially take back Democrat votes that said they were changing to Republican because of Biden. The Democrats and the Liberals did do this to themselves though, we can’t feel too sorry for them they didn’t let any other Democrat into their Primary. They took away the American people’s choice to vote for someone else whether they were a better choice or not. That in itself goes against the American way.

We’ll have to see what happens at the DNC there will be fireworks one way or another it seems. The question is will it be a different candidate or the Palestinian mob taking it over for the latest riot material. We already know they have been rehearsing.

What is your gut telling you? Do you feel the Holy Spirit nudging you telling you something is wrong even when others say nothing to see here?
