Caricature’s of Republicans

The Liberal press has been berating their opposition for years. It is no surprise that a New York magazine wrote a derogatory piece on Republican women. The question on the Cover was, “Are Republican Women okay?” The issue was written by Rebecca Traister. After listening to the Outnumbered session I was grateful to not have read this disaster of what someone called an article. I believe I saved myself from the headache and bile bitter taste of these calloused words going through my eyes, mind and heart.

The ladies on the couch regretted the time they spent reading ad nauseam. Unfortunately being in journalism you have to read to keep up with the information that is right and slanted to whatever degree to then see how far off or how dead on the document is in analysis. It’s actually an intriguing process at times until the documents are about you literally.

This lady sees Republicans in only one way as her adversaries. How could she write a legitimate article when she probably didn’t even take the time to interview the woman she wanted about in the article? A true journalist should have taken the time to ask questions and Garner information about the woman individually while also taking off her hat of biases and just soak up the information given to her before making a decision based off of her emotions towards the word before the women’s name; Republican.

Also this lady tried to portray these ladies of the opposite party as women who don’t know who they support. Apparently, women can’t support God, Country, their Husbands and Trump. They have to choose one that their identities demand that only one of these can be supported. Excuse me, but Christian Conservative Republican Women don’t have to choose one over the other. God shows us exactly in the Bible how none of these have to compete with the other if we have our values in the right priority.

I love the book of Proverbs, which is pure irony that Solomon wrote this book considering he definitely had women problems. However, he was taught the right way and dealt with the death and the lasting legacy of his older baby’s brothers death because of his Father’s infidelity. Yet Solomon was given wisdom by God and by elders and Proverbs was written from that wisdom that had been passed down from them to him. On Sunday nights the preacher has been going through Proverbs and I also took some time a couple months ago to write my thoughts on the first chapters of the book.

There is a book of Sarah Sundin’s every time I read it this passage makes me smile. His Mom had him read over and over again about the strange woman or as I call her Jezebel. He had dated all the wrong girls before, but his Mother made him recite this specific bible passage to keep him diligent about finding the right woman. It worked according to this storyline. If only more people would heed scripture worries and fears could be assuaged. God is the giver of peace and love if you can’t open your heart to see what He can give you you can’t give others the same.

The term Liberal has been a vexing word for me. When I was looking at schools they were described as the Liberal Arts, Liberals were free thinkers, but not anymore they want to decide those who are not like them taunt them and put them into neat little boxes to make themselves feel better about not being as happy as these Republican Woman are who love God, their Country, their Husbands and even Trump.
