One of the recent articles I just received this evening from The Federalist is good news. The name most synonymous with Lia Thomas is Riley Gaines. A woman with a very powerful voice and platform right now.

Why does she have this momentum?

It’s because of males like Thomas who are masquerading as women to make themselves feel better than the less than stellar reputation they had in men’s sports. Thomas brought a challenge against World Aquatics. They had banned athletes who were transgender from competing in the 2024 Summer Olympics. This was a Court of Arbitration making this decision and it was also in a Swiss court setting. It now stands.

The World Aquatics message is crucial to women’s sports right now. They want to remain consistent that there should be a separation of these genders for men’s and women’s sports. In 2022 they created policy to allow transgender athletes a place to compete separate from the other two.

Another woman althlete, a Canadian had a message for this article. She’s a powerlifter April Hutchinson. She said, “We will keep fighting. Women will always speak!!! We deserve fair sport and safety.” This message was on her X account. This article was written by Kamden Mulder, a summer intern. “Sports Court Rejects Lia Thomas Case, Delivers Massive Win For Women’s Sports.”
