My Spark for writing came back after a season of necessity. Five long months of healing and distraction have given me words again that I need to share and stories to bring smiles to faces even through the tears I had coming down my face first. Life keeps moving
though and I saw God working through my trials of healing everyday.
This evening one of the movies made when I was younger came on the television. It is now a World War II Classic film. I had thought of putting on a show today from my collection, but hadn’t gotten that far yet.
All weekend I have also been working on a project. I am excited to be getting as much done with this as I have already in less than 3 full days of work. Yet the flow of working these stitches have always come as second nature with as much practice as I have had.
The AH-1W Cobra. I only wish my photos looked better on here!
I am pretty happy though that I got as much done as I did even watching the Memphis Belle this evening. It brought back some memories for me doing my research while watching this film at various times through the years. It also reminds me of the unfinished manuscript in this laptop. I really want to finish this I am hopeful that God is somehow allowing things to happen in order for me to fulfill this dream of mine.
Weekends like this bring it back to the list of priorities for me. There were a lot of special interviews lately for this Memorial Day including a special celebration for the 8th Air Force who laid the ground work for D-Day. It’s difficult to not get emotional about this important day for our country and for our Veterans families. We need less people who think like the ‘Hamas Squad’ of Congress and more who respect those who serve us and our Constitution.
May God Bless you all as your festivities have been going on today!
