During our kitchen nightmare I was forced to work as hard as I could to help Mom. Our guys were working that week they helped when they could, but then we had nights where we got more done frankly without them but the totes were quite heavy. I knew moving the crates and the totes took a toll on me on top of the cleaning and dust that came along with it. I just had work through sneezing and coughing.
Still I managed to get out three articles most of the time that two weeks. Now this week the scratching and itching has been a bit more for me to bear. On top of the ear infection and the nausea that had come and gone over the last few days that’s also not counting on the lack of hours of sleep since Saturday night.
I forced myself to take a nap this afternoon. It really wasn’t hard at first I thought it was just 30 minutes. Then the alarm sounded and another 30 minutes sounded good too. The third alarm cut down to 15 more minutes. So in total an hour and 15 minute nap that really helped me feel like I gained some measure of balance to my day. Then I was ready to catch up on some of my stuff although I have had some help. I was able to get 2 loads of sheets and clothes washed and dried.
Unfortunately I was working on several different ideas for articles this week but my energy level and pain just took away my abilities. I still feel the urge to scratch through the day even though I don’t see the red blotches like before. It’s weird like I can feel the phantom pain still at times. I really hope this goes away and I think for the most part it has now. Hopefully I will be able to sleep like a baby tonight. Mom and I already have plans to walk in the morning.
Walking will be a good start to the day allowing me to finish the 3 articles I have in my head from earlier this week. I did have a good conversation with my boyfriend earlier and he is excited about this week of meetings. New clients mean our future could be jump-started a bit. Now if I can get past allergies and allergic reactions and get back to my projects as well as help Mom finish stocking the kitchen back would help us all get some sanity back.
