Visiting The ER Way Too Soon

I really didn’t want to make another appearance so soon in the ER, but what do you do when your medicine is never called in to the pharmacy?

Due to this visit though I do believe I will get my best night of sleep in 5 days at least. The Clinic knew I had a reaction and they were going to call in some medicine to my pharmacy. Yet at the time the Clinic closed even after a few phone calls to check on this medicine between the Clinic and the pharmacy. My specific medicines were not sent to the pharmacy.

Yeah it was frustrating to say the least.

Not only did my head hurt from the ear infection. My hands and feet were so itchy and blotchy red. Not to mention these spots had multiplied to other locations. Yet It was the end of the day and I didn’t get my the medicine that they said had to wait til the end of their work day to send to the pharmacy which also didn’t sound right.

My goodness, I was more low key about this, but Mom was absolutely livid at having to wait for such a long time. I guess I was just too tired and emotionally exhausted to want to deal with it. Yet when I got the phone call they left the clinic without having sent my orders when they had known about this all freaking day since 9 am infuriated me enough to let Mom force me to the ER.

The only thing good about taking the medicine I had taken before it started taking over my body is that it did work for my ear infection. The ER doctor seemed to think I had more wax in it than anything else. So only 3 tablets of this high dose helped treat my infection. However, my hands and feet are still blotchy red more than any other place on my body. The new places don’t seem to be itchy which is a blessing.

This was not a twist I was ready to deal with this week. Now, with my shot and some medicine I pray I am on the road to recovery. My list of medicine allergies is growing though, I don’t really like that!
