Jewells of Thought

Surprisingly I didn’t throw up in the car on the drive over even though I have felt queasy on and off since late Saturday afternoon. Then I was in the office in less than five minutes of being in the Clinic signing paperwork and sitting down. It was remarkable, Mom said the last few times here she’s had to wait quite a while. So I am extremely grateful I didn’t have to wait too long in the lobby.

Then after the Nurse went through her questions she let a student Nurse Practitioner have the second set of questions. She was quite thorough and came up with the diagnosis and then consulted with my regular Nurse Practitioner. I have a really bad ear infection. My allergies that started three weeks ago have not been fully drained of all the congestion properly and my right ear was angry red and full of ear wax. Also the pain has restricted my next movements which feels weird something I don’t ever remember having before when I was younger with an ear infection.

Tomorrow after having a day’s worth of my antibiotics I should feel better. Today I have spent a lot of time trying to get over this queasiness and just resting. Tomorrow is my Grandma’s church’s Mother’s Day Banquet. I am looking forward to feeling better for it last year I had an eye predicament at this time. I had to wear glasses I think because of that so we shall see how tomorrow goes.
