Until nearly 5 minutes ago I forgot what today was! I got so busy and into my project of cutting paper for my scrapbooking endeavor that I lost all track of anything else going on. I did get quite a bit more made so I am excited about getting started with the photos and making the story of Grandma’s life come to life in these timeless pieces of her life.
As I just browsed through WTHI’s rundown of the precinct’s percentages I was smiling. I was so happy to see Senator Braun in top place with 83% of the count in. The uncertainty of the last few months and the loud and rather obnoxious commercials were overkill. Braun is on top, I wonder who his number two will be?
There were 8 Republicans running for Congress and Mark Messmer is in the lead in that race. I loved watching his commercial because he is a talented man. He’s a musician and plays trumpet I love that it was showcased playing a patriotic song. I wish I could remember the name of the song, but I totally related to him on that amazing note.
Elvis still lives for another day in his seat. Bruce also was in the lead over the other two. I still just can’t believe I blanked out about watching for the numbers as they came in. I was simply too preoccupied having fun. I am so grateful for these results and look forward to November. It’s such a privilege to vote and pray that the Presidential election this November will be a landslide in Trump’s favor. Otherwise voting won’t matter after this year if the so-called incumbent wins.
