The past couple of days have been… well I am not certain what word to use. This is a job that is extremely necessary and yet has been difficult to accomplish. First of all having the right manpower and tools to remove the kitchen paraphernalia of various sizes and weight loads.
Honestly even on our trip I found myself waking up in the middle of the night just to sneeze a couple of times both nights. It happens often enough, but Monday it happened before even going to bed after moving out of some of the stuff from our dusty higher cabinets. Monday really took it out of us though, me and Mom were sweating like pigs moving around going up and down. The sweat when I went to bed was so thick I used a cold washcloth but didn’t dry it off which might have been a problem.
By morning I had a sore throat, but we still had a lot more work to do. I detest sore throats, but again Mom couldn’t do all the work by herself. Plus we had to have a tall guy to help us out. There are times I feel better and times I feel more the opposite and this morning was exactly that way.
My ears are still popping as I am typing this. It’s incessant and frustrating and my nose feels stopped up it’s going to come out soon. The question is how? By sneezing or just needing to blow my nose. However, our kitchen has never looked better since we first moved in.

So I guess this means it was worth getting sick over to get this result and God-willing to stop the plague we have been living with for months.
