Jewells of Thought

We have been plagued with a problem for literally months. It has been frustrating. We think it’s gone and then nope saw another one. We are all pretty fried from the experience.

So the past couple of days we have been readying the kitchen to be sprayed. It has been a lot of moving and boxing things up to move out of the way. Then because our guys have been working the night shifts it’s been 75% me and Mom doing the bulk of the moving.

Last night I was able to get out all but one of the cabinets around the refrigerator. However, I am too short even with a ladder my arm cannot reach the farthest cabinet. So finally Dad was able to get to it once he got up and yet he also couldn’t reach the door. He found one of his picker upper devices and was able to get the various bowls out of the that infamous last cabinet.

It’s been quite a chore to do this. Yesterday it felt like I had sweat off 5 pounds from picking things out of the cabinets and into the several boxes and crates. Not only have we found things we thought were lost we have been able to also do some Spring Cleaning at the same time.

Now we are hoping and praying the spraying actually works. It would be nice to have all of our hard, exhausting work pay off.
