Wow the past few days have been like a whirlwind. I left you all with a story Friday about a Bridal Shower and a Gift. It took me a while just to get that piece written and posted. Thursday was just a day I decided to enjoy my surroundings and not think about posting until I was ready to later allowing myself to marinate on the whole experience first.
The trip was short, but it was exactly what we needed in various ways. Yet there were some oddities that we also endured. Goodness the time went quickly and yet stood still especially Friday morning in the wee hours of the morning.
To my agonizing horror breakfast was unable to be made anywhere Friday morning.
Then on top of all of our mini vacation this has been our weekend with my niece. Due to some unruly children she wanted to be with us a bit more and especially today was a big help making dinner. Yesterday she helped Mamaw make dessert for our two birthday guys. Sometimes it seems like she’s growing up too fast. It was really good to have that time with her the last couple of days. We didn’t think we would get much time with her due to our trip. The opposite happened though and it was such a blessing.
Once again… God allowed me to hear His voice in the middle of all of these happenings. I think I have made a decision that I have been leaning towards for a few weeks. Time away and experiencing new things or different things has a way of allowing time for clarity to see the bigger picture. Exercise was also a great part of our trip.The walks were brisk and sweet.
Still… how is it already Sunday again. It came way too quickly.
