Finding God During the Eclipse

Honestly, when I heard the intro I was skeptical about what was to be spoken about with God and the Eclipse. Perhaps the believers watching thought of God’s divine intricacy and design of the heavens and the stars, but how many non believers thought about Him specifically!

The lady lost me when she said millions of years and the big band theory. The man however, that she showed a video of seemed better to listen to, but it’s difficult to take what they say when they use liberal talking points. I would most rather go by the Bible and its facts that have been tried and tested to be accurate.

Yet it is a good question to ask. Did you feel God yesterday when you observed the Total Eclipse before during and after the event? People kept talking about feeling emotional during the whole process. Not having been there I didn’t feel the emotional connection, but seeing the darkness and the temperature cooling down was something unusual and one thing I could very easily see happen right here in real time.

Lots of photos from NASA were shown from Fox News Live and on Facebook. Some amazing photos that remind me of other videos I have watched about the solar system and God’s intricate design on them. It is incredible how intimate God’s touch is in the heavens. The Lord God is omniscient and His Gospel is shown in the stars and that is recorded in Genesis and throughout the Bible. The stars sing His praises, just as it was said that the rocks would do on Psalm Sunday if praises had not been heard by Christ’s followers.

What would that have been like to hear rocks praise Christ? Was the Eclipse how nature praises God? Is that why emotions were high, God was talking to people? The question is will they listen to His voice?
