Seeing the whole picture. There are times when there are little continuations of a story and I see them either in my family or Church family throughout the years. When an arc or a mature reaction, a story that continues to change due to God’s miraculous touch or the fact that God’s touch seen or not seen is felt in a person’s life or their family situation.
There are times due to having read not only my Bible but books for research purposes and even historical fiction. I like to strategize and analyze what could possibly happen next. I have found myself to be right more than not. Human tendency is amazing what our sin nature does versus a Christian heart. Whether or not one can hold either their moral guidance over their wants, lusts and desires. Will training and determination win out or the subterfuge that is being held against the character, the person.
People are different, but human nature is the same over the course of world history. God’s handiwork on people’s lives can be so mind boggling and wonderful they are incredible stories that need to be heard. Like Christ’s death. Today is Palm Sunday within one week so much happened to Christ. He came into Jerusalem on a donkey and if the people had not praised Him scripture says the rocks would have praised Him. Then after having the last supper with his disciples he finally mentioned the a betrayer in their midst.
Once Iscariot sold Christ for 30 pieces of silver He was taken into custody. A kangaroo trial led to Him being beaten and a crown of thorns being placed on his head as He was taken to Golgotha to be crucified. Yet it is some of the details that make this amazing story, this account so incredible. Some things happened instantly when Christ died in the temple in the holy of the Hollies the veil or drape was cut in two signifying the end of needing a priest. Another interesting tidbit dealt with a lamb that same day. Christ’s blood had already covered the lambs sacrifice.
Then the third day Christ arose. In that era, women were seen as not credible so of course, that’s exactly who God thought to send to the empty tomb first. The stories God arranges are truly perplexing to some, but hilarious and intriguing to others who comprehend the times they come from. God Has to give these stories to you specifically. Eve, according to Jill Eileen Smith’s book may have also been gifted with storytelling as well.
