“Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

Proverbs 5-6

On my phone I have a Bible App I have had it for a long time. When I need to do some word or address research on the go I use this app. Even when I am at home where I have tons of Bibles I still if my phone is close at hand will start for this app. Yet I would much rather have my Bible with me at Church. There is something about feeling my Bible and its pages while reading from it at Church.

The title of this chapter says, “The Pursuit of Wisdom Brings Security.” When you know scripture you are armed with God’s word. It is sharper than any two edged sword against the enemy. Even Lucifer used scripture and twisted it to attempt to tempt Christ in the desert.

The big news today in the Conservative media, that is, was Tony Bobulinski in a hearing today. This man gave his testimony today for a public hearing something Hunter Biden has said he wanted for months and months and then he was a no show. The actions of men belie their character. Mr. Bobulinski was ready and eager to speak his mind after being gagged for 4 years. However, Mr. Biden was essentially a coward and couldn’t sit next to his own colleague to testify about how wonderful their business practices were. Why do you think that is?

Unfortunately, Hunter has no filter and his own lawyer can’t prevent him from the possibility of bad publicity. He is a wild card and likes to talk too much. This scenario shows perfectly why scripture is needed in our daily lives. Why we need to adhere to the Proverbs Solomon was taught as a child. There is security in knowledge that is why God gave us the Bible to have guidelines and to show us what happened in history. Knowing the past helps us to ascertain the future in ways God knew it would be helpful for those of us who would read and study its depths.

Security, though still rests in knowing that you have accepted Christ as your savior first and foremost. Knowledge comes through time, reading and studying in the Bible as much as you can within a day or the week.

What truth is staring you in the face and yet out of your grasp? The Lord wants to give you security will you accept Him in order to receive it?
