My family has always loved eating around a movie. It was a family thing on my Mom’s side so there are tons of movies and Series we watched together. Dennis the Menace is not just a beloved nickname of my uncle, it was a favorite movie for us to watch, Indiana Jones we watched all of them and Star Wars were on constantly.
We watched classics as well as Sci-Fi and Hogans Heroes, anything with Lucy Ball. We couldn’t just watch it once and were done. What’s the use of getting the VHS or taping it if you didn’t watch it more than once. That’s the whole reasoning behind having the VHS or now DVD or simply recording the movie on your television screen these days.
White Christmas is another special movie our family watched nearly every Christmas. My grandparents before Grandpa died also really enjoyed watching The Nanny and Everybody Loves Raymond. I can’t watch those sitcoms without thinking of them. Of course I have my own interests outside of my family lane, but it could take a while to get into all of them. As a young girl Full House was the rage I now have the set and have most of the new set of Fuller House. As a teenager JAG was my personal favorite show to watch on Primetime during the 90s and early 2000’s. It took a while, but by the time of my birthday the year I graduated from college I completed the set when I purchased the 10th and last season. This is just the brief version of what I have and have loved to watch growing up.
