Losing Ground on the Majority

What on earth are some of these Republicans thinking?

Talk about the obstacles for this majority over the last year is amazing. It wasn’t enough to have the majority and use it effectively as the Democrats have and as well over the past years. My head is still boggled.

The two big losses didn’t have to happen when they did. First of all George Santos was not charged. It was so foolish to willingly give away a seat as the Republicans who threw that seat out. The narrow majority was known and yet keeping the majority was not more important than losing to another seat possibly to the other side?

Then the embarrassed Former Speaker decides to leave for what reason at that specific time? None of this makes sense unless it is all to specifically make the Republicans even more vulnerable which it has obviously done. I have no love-loss for Ken Buck. I am actually glad he will be leaving he may be a Republican but his actions say otherwise in many cases. Again… the question is why now?

Knowing what we know about the Liberal wish list and that the Democrats are following in line with them should be enough to show a fortified front. God is in the details though, right. How many times did General Washington feel defeated only to see the hand of God lead him through a challenge. Time after time God hid him and his men from the British by this heavy, sinewy fog. Even one of his Generals betrayed him, Benedict Arnold. The weather itself so many times came up against him and his men including while at Valley Forge yet he had Martha who would come to be with him in some of those campsites.

God gave him comfort among torrents of this war including a man named Patrick Henry who wrote a pamphlet entitled Common Sense. Why does it take being at the end of one’s last nerve sometimes to see the sliver of hope coming to the situation you are currently in?

Trump and Biden have both garnered the tallies they are the respectful two person race for the election come November. My God help us it will be a long season of campaigning for this country. Lord help us to be mindful of the dire dichotomy of these two men and what they represent. Trump’s light and hope for a better country or Biden’s darkness and utter chaos we have now.
