Does this mean that my words matter?

The Lord has guided me through these articles now for an entire year on Word Press. Of course, I post these here and on my Facebook page but I also post on a couple other platforms like Gettr and Truth Social. Just this morning I noticed a couple more likes from my Gettr account on my article ‘Proverbs’ a new topic of interest and sharing my comments on the scripture from the book.

Today is the State of the Union and it is quite likely to be Biden’s last one. His policies may not be of his own making entirely, but God has a reason for each person being where he or she is even in the White House. Why do you think the past 3 years had to happen to us? I still remember being at my Grandma’s house after the election in 2020 anytime into the near year 2021 when Biden actually took a seat at the resolute desk. I had stopped listening to CBS and NBC and never had watched the others like MSNBC or ABC.

Anyhow, there were countless Sunday afternoons that I heard my family discussing how awful listening to the election coverage was for them. Especially that Trump wouldn’t stop contesting. Not knowing how to go against the grain, but knowing Trump was exactly in the right constitutionally speaking, I was biting my tongue hoping and praying they would see through the crap their networks were feeding them. Fast forward to this past Sunday I listened once again to another conversation. One of my cousins who lives in Bloomington was there with her son and the issue that came up was the term ‘woke’ and what it meant. I was intrigued to hear what was said.

It took living through good years under Trump to see what was possible and to see what was also possible on the reverse. God gave us time to see the dichotomy of the two administrations. Even the most hardheaded Democrats are seeing the difference between Liberals that are taking off with the Democrat Party. How many times did God have to show the Israelites the same thing in the Old Testament? There are countless examples of this throughout the history of God’s chosen people.

America is also a blessed nation because our Founding Fathers and Mothers prayed that this country would be set aside to be governed under God and not a king. Our founding in the American Revolutionary War is something that is monumental. I love looking into this period of history it’s amazing and inspirational.

My thoughts are what would our Founding Fathers and Mothers be thinking about tonight at this State of the Union? Will what Biden has to say actually be heard? Will Biden’s words matter to the country?
