Seduction is a trap too easily set for God’s people. Yet anyone who has been in church should know the history of people and their actions. Just like those biblical figures though we are still human and we have to be reminded over and over again.
It’s simply the difference sometimes in generations. The older generation saw something felt it personally and then a couple of generations were added to the family and they didn’t see that event or miracle that God gave to His people. Some have faith which means that they didn’t see what happened and yet they still believed it happened as if they were there. That is the amazing part of the Bible. All of the generations since this scripture were written and people who were not around during these events yet we believe they happened as it is written in full.
However, there are new generations that don’t heed the words of Solomon, king of Israel about being cautious about sin. Too many people under the influence of Lucifer and his other fallen cohorts want the ability to trap one of God’s people against themselves.
In Proverbs 1: 8-19, so many verses full of horror are depicting various scenarios in which believers are lured to evil things disguised as feel good experiences. It’s a sad sorry state to read and know they have all worked at one time or another throughout the time of history.
So how do we protect ourselves and others against this? Read more in this book and pray specifically. God may not answer your prayer in your time, but there is always an answer and God is always with you through the Holy Spirit. It’s a comforting thought going through the craziness of the world.
Christ wants to hear your troubles take them to Him don’t let others seduce you into the wrong direction.
Don’t go looking for trouble. Trouble comes lurking around enough, be prepared with scripture and Christ in you to deter what comes. Sometimes trials just happen what matters is how you act and what your character says about your actions.
