Being Pro-Life isn’t about being better than those on the other side of the issue. It’s about purpose. God gave every one of His creations a unique purpose. When that unique life is snuffed out it’s a loss of that unique purpose that was complementary-suited to that life.
Sin shifted life for us humans though. Sometimes, like Abel, death comes to us at young ages, although he may have been a mature man with his own wife not yet surrounded with children. I can’t know for certain but I may be older than he was when his older brother killed him. I cannot speak as a mother or a wife; only as a girlfriend waiting on God’s timing. However, children have always been seen as a blessing from God no matter what color of skin they may have; they have a purpose and should be protected.
Honestly there is no church that I know of that does not support our local Pregnancy Crisis Center. I remember it being prayed over before it came to fruition and has since continued to be a priority in our community.
All of this comes to mind today because of the border crisis. I watched another resident of Arizona talk about what he has personally seen and taped from his ranch’s security footage on his property. This is not the first time I have seen similar images or heard of this horrible, despicable phrase, ‘The Raping Tree.” Women who cross the border in these groups of the ‘got away’s’ are raped and their undergarments displayed on the tree in abject horror for others to see.
Where are the feminists when you need them?
This isn’t just happening in one location. It’s all throughout the border area. It’s not just one time and that’s it. These women are being used and abused constantly and consistently as to their captor’s wants. Yet conservative women who have God’s love and Holy Spirit within them are constantly criticized for wanting to save the lives of fetuses all the way up as possible to 9 months. Even the V.P. Harris won’t say 9 months is on or off the table because really she wants it on the table.
On the other side where is the common decency of the phrase, “my body, my choice.” These women coming through the border are not being seen as human beings anymore. Yet that border bill a couple of weeks ago would continue to let the illegals come through and not shut down the border at all. I am not sure it would save these women from this horrific experience completely, but it would stop the crossings and keep those men from coming into the U.S. If the Biden Administration had a heart they would be trying to disseminate these criminal cartels lengthening their reach into our domestic territory.
Unfortunately history can be harsh when we look back into certain time periods. Rape was considered a blight for a woman especially if she carried a child from it. A child not intended and it was even more heinous when the woman was still a child herself. Times have changed some, and yet not at all. This often meant a woman couldn’t marry. Look at Christ’s own mother, Mary. She was not raped yet Joseph could have stoned her for sleeping around even though that allegation was false. Joseph made a wonderful father for Jesus in this case until his death his time came so that Christ could take his rightful place in history for our salvation.
So why is it that Republicans can’t wrap their heads about where they stand on Abortion and IVF?
The Democrats have beaten us in the case of abortion in Kansas and Ohio in a major way. We are the party of the Pro-Life Movement and Roe-Versus Wade was an astounding effect of 50 years worth of prayer. I don’t personally see any restrictions in this decision. I do remember hearing board certified doctors saying that abortion is not the word for a procedure that can be conducted in the hospital when it comes to a danger to the baby or the mother. Horrible things happen and sometimes death is best to save one way or the other. These exceptions are crucial when extraordinary horrifying circumstances happen. Not all women have the same upbringing though, and there has to be a unifying measure that gives peace to both sides of the aisle. Yet we can’t stop loving in each of these circumstances as Pro-Choice advocates. Prayer is a life-safer or the preserver for those dealing with this issue day in and out.
That mantra, “my body, my choice,” only seems to work against the Conservative women. Why is that? We got this decision overturned because of generations of prayer. However, women by the hundreds have been dismissed by the Democrats and their agenda for this open border so their lives don’t even matter illegal or not what if it ends up happening in these sanctuary cities?
There are times I have felt like Hannah and until three years ago, I didn’t have Bryan as my Elkanah, fortunately there is no Dinah in our story though. They were faithful stewards yet she felt in such despair watching Dinah produce children for the love of her life. That could not have been easy to do I say this being an observer myself in recent birth events within both my church and family. Only God can give us peace about our own unique situations. Yet I am reminded of Sara and Abraham, and Isaac and Rebeccca as well as Hannah. Each couple had years of alone time until God brought them children. The new technology of IVF is amazing and yet there are hazards and evils with choosing specific traits for a child this way.
Life itself should be the key takeaway with using in vitro technology. The idea though that if a woman is seriously having complications yet she has such a heart for a child with her husband this gift means everything to them. Still… adoption if it is an option monetarily could be just as beautiful adding lonely hearts into your home love covers a lot of bruises and scraps from the past and could potentially heal a young heart with time.
