The idea of which job title you are referring to would matter the most in this case. My job or duties more so are many including these: chef, chauffeur, confidante, companion for different situations such as doctors appointments, cleaning lady, babysitter and reminder. All of these are enjoyable when I remember they are being done for family as these same things were done for me at a much younger age by these same people.
Payment or income is not always monetary. Sometimes you do things because it is the right thing to do. Scripture is full of testimonies of families taking care of their own with the exceptions though as well as to be honest. Adam and Eve, according to ‘Eve’ by Jill E. Smith would have been like this to an extent until some of the families left to create their own towns.
Right now knowing I have purpose in the skills God gave me helps me and I continue to use them to the best of my ability. If a job comes or my boyfriend is finally able to separate from his firm and move here things could change drastically. I am also enjoying using my hobbies for presents right now it may not be a job but these activities have purpose.
