Jewells of Thought

These are the first stitches to this last towel for this set of gifts. I have never taken as many photos while stitching as I have lately for these pieces for myself to see how far each day to see what I accomplished.

Each stitch is a form of serenity for me knowing it will complete a finished image. As I have mentioned before observing the back as I am mostly working on the front is just as intriguing to see how it changes. It’s also a metaphor the inside may be a mess at times and yet as long as we have God residing in us He will steady us keeping us together by design.

God’s Love Covers All. Isn’t that such a powerful message with such a sweet face to show it with. Did you have the security blanket you always had to have? Did it also have patches where someone had to keep fixing your blanket over and over again?
