After watching the series “The Way Home” I love the idea of just showing up in another time frame and figuring it out somehow. Although, waking up in Nathaniel Greene’s home or the book store he got books from. He learned his military prowess and strategy from books. Or in the Washington household with Martha Dandridge Custis as the mistress of Washington’s Estate either before the war or after the war. During the war he didn’t return to Mount Vernon for 6 years. That would be the destination I would want to chose between his home and Martha’s.
There are several different avenues along the path of history I would want to go back to again. Yet saying one particular person is hard to list as well. That is why I love this series and why I love the Bible. We get to explore what people went through and their personal accounts in whatever details the prophets and God gave us about their specifics. It is marvelous what scripture gives us and history books about God and God-fearing men and women.
