I don’t know that I have any really one ambitious project. Sometimes I like being crafty, my parents bought me a mat cutter when I graduated from college. So I could make my cross-stitch projects and then either have my dad make the frame or get them somewhere and I could fit the matting myself and play with them however I saw fit. The two that come to mind are the gift to my parents the ‘Footprints’ I made for them and the ‘Tractor’ I gave to dad. He made his own frames but I personally cut the matting on played with the two colors of matting.
I did have some fun back in December with my wood closet space and a shelf and added some neat paper that brought out some neat colors and changed the feel of the room for me. Yet as far as DIY projects I am not usually the one to finish something any bigger without some help. Sometimes it’s the little things you can change that make the most difference that doesn’t cost the most or consume time. Although cross-stitch does consume time and good vision.
