Timing

Those gowns could get really hot the DaVita ones were much better than the ones at Fresenius!

Today has been quite a day. Finally at nearly 11 or a little after we got our water back on. It was nice to finally have water in order to really have clean hands to put my contacts on. I was able to get two of my earlier articles done because we didn’t have water to clean with yet.

Then I began looking through my emails something caught my eye. A job listing for a medical scribe once again. This time it was different though, it didn’t require experience so I decided to give it a try. Fortunately I had one of my more health related resumes handy, but there was still the tons of questions that my resume would answer that I still had to answer separately. So what is the use of having a resume if we still have to fill out our resume on their applications?

I finished the process thankfully. Then in less than 3 hours or so I thought I was getting a “Thank You for applying” text. No it was actually a text saying the lady would love to talk to me and that I should set up a time on her Calendly Calender. So I did that and we will be talking this week. God-willing this could be what I have been waiting for short-term to get the long-term effects. It will be a one-year stint, but the experience working with doctors will be immeasurable for a medical scribe as I well know.

This was the first thing I went towards after Grandpa Leo died. Learning the words of the medical field became intriguing to me although I never thought I would ever be where I have now worked in a Nursing Home and in several Dialysis Centers that 14 year old girl would never have conceived my doing any of this. Then Uncle Mike went on Dialysis and I took Medical Coding it still amazes me what time and perspective has given me experiences away from my passions of Music and History.

So does this mean the health field could also be a passion of sorts? Or does this mean knowing Medical Terminology is also a passion of mine!
