Activities or hobbies I have outgrown?-Writing Prompt

Daily writing prompt
Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?

The number one idea that comes to mind is my gymnastics and all that crazy fun stuff I did as a younger girl. I could still do handstands and cartwheels as a teenager, but I think I am officially over those types of movements. They were fun and kept us limber and helped to tire us out I’m certain back then. Now I am good just to take walks for exercise.

Although I hope I never lose interest in my other hobbies. They are good to keep your brain working. I want to keep up with all my instruments, cross-stitch, writing, cooking, card-making or scrap-booking of sorts. Coming up with newer ideas to decorate and keeping my fingers going is important. Especially, if I can still get a little walk in each day somehow for fresh air and working my legs and feet out. The piano also helps me with that a little bit. Who can sit at the piano and not move their feet I can’t hardly play without the sustainer with to continue the legato of the pieces I play.

Our activities and hobbies are what keep us going God gives us talents to use for others. When we stop that’s when things change in our lives. Obviously, there are times that change will happen, but then different opportunities may arise. Don’t be unwilling to change there may be a special blessing in doing so that just takes a leap of faith.
