Project Report

Thankfully I will be back to the Cobra Helicopter within the week. I am excited to get back to it. My other projects are still in the middle, but they will be wrapping up soon.

The pillow is done although I did have a little trouble at first. This pillow is littler than the other pillows I have normally worked on.

Then I have a towel possibly more than one. It was nice to have a conversation with a fellow Church Lady and friend who is also a crafty lady. We got to share memories of making things for others and how her husband and my Dad have specially made our frames. My parents when I graduated from college gave me a mat cutter which was awesome.

Footprints I stitched it and Dad made the frame plus I cut the matting.

It really kind of hit me besides the elders in my life I don’t have conversations about needlepoint with anyone younger. Not anymore it doesn’t seem like, not even my niece too much. Autumn a church friend was the last person that really took an interest. Plus she wanted her brother to know she worked on his plane even if it was a little bit. I tried not to be to judgey. It was really sweet that she wanted to do that for him.

I still enjoy looking at the water and how real it looks.
