Cross-Stitch Projects

Okay so I began working on my Cobra at the beginning of this month. I have had to pause it for a short time due to February coming around the corner literally. Not just one, but two babies are expected in the next few weeks.

It has been a long time since I have made a baby present for a family member. I have made some different pieces whether cross-stitching some bags, towels, and some pieces framed specifically for little ones. This is something I really enjoyed adding a personal touch to my gift to my relatives.

I have a slew of Precious Moments and many magazines and copies from my Aunts yes multiple because they gave their stuff to me. Aunt Carol also gave me a good chunk of her cross-stitch thread patterns and Aida cloth. This skill has been a wonderful one to have in my list of hobbies. It may seem outdated and old-fashioned, but I am a 20th Century woman after all.

These little presents won’t take long and I will be back to the Cobra in no time. It’s nice to be able to use my fingers for something else besides typing all the time. I am excited to finish these baby gifts though.
