Well… it has finally unsurprisingly happened. Another 3 American troops to add to Biden’s bloodied hands. The toll of our Nation’s finest since he took over the Oval Office is 18 not to mention the thousands and millions of fentanyl deaths also because he refuses to close the border and our American Citizens still being held hostage in Gaza by Hamas.
How many times did the Democrats say if you elect Biden the adults will be back in charge? What in their minds constitutes an adult though? I don’t see adults at the table. Today the DoD Secretary was actually at work for the first time today after not telling any key people about why he had originally taken time away. What’s worse is that no one noticed he was missing including Biden. That doesn’t sound like an adult making adult decisions more like a child keeping secrets.
Still no effective decision has been made to punish Iran for this travesty. Accountability has been lacking since day one of Biden’s so-called Administration. The word ‘don’t’ has not worked. We need something concise, strategic and absolutely deliberate; one of Trump’s specialties.
This version of the demasculinization of our Military within the DoD with the Secretary and Kirby downplaying the seriousness of events is frustrating. Our country has never been so foolish due to the fecklessness of these men, our brass, in the military. Where is Teddy Roosevelt when we need him? He said, talk softly and carry a big stick; I’m paraphrasing. Any number of Commanders including General Patton or even General MacArthur… Eisenhower would be men of action needed to be in service right now.
A memory just came back to me. I interviewed Bob McClure, one of my Great Grandpa Arla’s good friends. This is in his own words:
“When we went to Japan of course the convoy uh we was attached to the 1st Cavalry Division again they landed at Tokyo and oh when they signed the peace treaty aboard the Missouri. We was on a truck ship and I could see it-what was going on just real plain. When it come on T.V. on all like 50 years later there it was a real thing you know it wasn’t no put up. It was just like it was and boy I could never seen so many planes in my life-it was flying over I reckon we just showing them that we still had planes left or something. All kinds of planes flying over all the time just the sky was full of planes… you know MacArthur, and Tojo, and Hirohito and whatever was there on “The Big Mo.”
When I see what we have in our military brass and even this Commander in Chief, I think about the men I have talked to over the years. They would be absolutely hurt about what has happened over the past 3 years. I am grateful Bob didn’t see these epic failures this administration has created. Yet everyday other Veterans in this country are so dismayed by what they see and feel they are failures. This is a horrific failure on this White House.
Those young Americans flying over the Peace Treaty may have had some bravado, but they were proud to be Americans that won the war. We need a slice of that bravado from real professionals instead of the suits currently in the Pentagon under this administration.
