Today has been an interesting day. However, my boyfriend did give me my first Birthday Greeting at 2 am my time which was somewhere between his 11 am and midnight. I didn’t get it until a little bit later like 7 ish my time. I did go back to sleep only to be reawakened by my niece sometime after 7:30.
Then we ate at West Union Cafe; all 7 of us. My niece brought a friend my parents, uncle and my brother. I had grilled salmon the salad bar and mashed potatoes and brown gravy which was delicious. Then we headed home for some cake. Now there’s a story.
The girls decided to be the main photographers and the cutters of the cake. I still don’t have all the photos even though Selena promised she would send them all to me. It was very interesting to watch them take over the reins. The cake sizes had to reconfigured a little bit after they were done.
Fortunately mine came out just the right size!
