First of all I found a photo of my Christmas gift a month before turning 16. This is the suit I wore to the Statehouse for my first time Paging with my friends. I know my hair is frizzled-frazzled. It’s Christmas morning and Mom wanted me to try it on for a picture.

Now I am not certain when I got my car I have slept since then, but this was my first car. A Thunderbird I can’t even remember what year or anything else about it now, but we got it for $800. I loved it even when I had to take my little brothers around in it.

Notice right behind my car was our combine. I love that! A lot has changed since the photo was taken though the trees behind our now stumps the same for the tree in front of that house at the top of the corner. Forget what that date says in 1998 I was only 13 I couldn’t legally drive yet.
Unfortunately one of my presents was unable to be used on this car due to no license plate on the front of the car. I did get to use my present eventually and ironically it fit that car perfectly since it was purple, but that was a few years later. I had to work at Walmart the whole summer to be able to pay most of it with my parents help. My nameplate was a gift from my uncles Tony and Mike I do believe.

As you can see from a young age I have loved to do puzzles. The little puzzle on the left was 100 pieces, but I enjoyed going all the way up to 1000 pieces. I do have quite an array of puzzles in my room that haven’t been touched for a few years due to not having a space to work them right now with everything else I have been doing. They have been wonderful stress reducers too and something we have done on both sides of the family. The Bishops over the past 20 years since Grandpa Leo’s death was something we worked on on Sunday afternoons when we got together.
These are just some little details of my life and my 16th birthday.
